Played twice (June 2015). Course was in excellent condition. Staff were extremely helpful and friendly. We hired clubs as we hadn't taken our own from the UK and both sets were excellent, up to date and clean. We hired a buggy as it was hot, but the course is certainly walkable. They have a driving range and putting green to warm up on before the round. Golf shop and bar/restaurant too. We combined playing golf with hill walking in the region, so we were based at Sulmona. Didn't have any problems driving to the golf club - easy to find. We had a hire car and took our own TomTom. (We had uploaded the Italian maps before we left the UK - and it was invaluable for finding our way around - especially for hill walking from some of the small villages). Green keeping staff were also very kind and helped us jump start the car (we had forgotten to switch off the headlights). Will play there again in the future. Will probably fly to nearby Pescara rather than Rome next time.
