The observatory on the 39th floor was open to the public from 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday. There is no charge to go up. Specatular views of the city!

I had organized myself top go there on a Sunday morning mid-March after reading so many recommandations to go up to the 39th floor. I was disappointed to discover it was closed. Is it temporary or final ? No idea. None of the security people patrolling around the building could speak any English (the only word one managed to say was \closed\). Besides, there was zero information or any signs at the building regarding those Sunday events. Quite a waste of time.
