Authentic, informal atmosphere. Selection in the menu is relatively small, but everything is home made with fresh, seasonal, locally grown veggies and herbs. Dishes are a bit pricey, but are truly high quality and very creatively crafted, with surprising taste combinations. We thought some of them were brilliant! You should be aware that this restaurant follows the Italian \Slow food\ tradition. Nothing happens quickly, and you will have plenty of time to enjoy the company and conversation over a bottle of wine. The house wine is not bad, the white one is actually quite special. You should plan to spend no less than three hours here. Oh, and if you're visiting during the high season, be sure to call and make a reservation. I think you will enjoy it!

Excellent service, beautiful location, but the food couldn't keep up. Tasteless, somewhat overcooked and pretentious. Such a shame since everything else was so excellent.
