On the day after arrival the manager asked us to move our tent as they’d made a mistake with the pitches. Was bad enough to have to move after spending a couple of hours pitching the tent the night before to be asked to move, however to be shouted at to move the tent and then for her to make out it was somehow our fault. Comical! After saying we were leaving, she tried to charge us for the full weekend and threatened us with the police. Only after I said to go ahead and get the police did she relent and charge us for one night. Only thing going for this site is that it’s on the lake, otherwise the pitches are tiny, really small. Most pitches don’t have enough room for a caravan/family tent and car on the same pitch. Lots of other nice sites on the lake, avoid this one at all cost. Update 23-Aug-20: The booking was taken by Tanja Eckert. It is definitely Camping Lago, Maccagno that we had this unpleasant experience.

Waren zum Ersten mal hier und alles hat wunderbar geklappt. Platzbetreiber waren stets freundlich und hilfsbereit. Der gesamte Platz macht einen ordentlichen und sauberen Eindruck. Die Sanitäranlage war immer sauber. Auch unser Labrador war ein gern gesehener Gast, der auch die am Sanitärhaus liegende saubere und geflieste Hundedusche zum Abkühlen genutzt hat. Die Lage direkt am Lago Maggiore ist einmalig. Gerne kommen wir wieder hier her!

Toller Campingplatz mit Anbindung an den See sowie sauberen Sanitäranlagen. Covid 19 wird hier zudem ernst genommen, was wir auf unserer Reise nicht überall feststellen konnten. Ein Highlight für Kinder ist der Sanitärbereich, siehe Foto. Sehr süß gemacht. Nette Atmosphäre hier auf dem Campingplatz.

Wir haben uns im August für 1 Woche angemeldet aus den dann 2 geworden sind.Wir hatten mit unseren Womo 2 super Urlaubswochen in toller freundlicher Umgebung .Man fühlte sich wie bei guten Freunden und absolut Sicher und Willkommen.Bis bald und bleibt Gesund.Arno und Anja Rosenboom

Wir waren das erste mal mit dem WOMO unterwegs und haben uns vorab für diesen Campingplatz entschieden! Telefonisch angemeldet ..........und zack hatten wir einen Stellplatz ! Super freundlicher Empfang , schöner Platz direkt am Wasser und nagelneue Sanitäranlagen! Leckeres italienisches Essen bekommt man gleich um die Ecke , wo man bequem in ein paar Minuten zu Fuß hinlaufen kann ! Wir kommen gerne wieder !!

Sono riuscita a trascorrere un paio di giorni in questo campeggio. Tra i dubbi iniziali sulle condizioni di sicurezza Covid, devo proprio dire che e' andato tutto magnificamente: la pulizia generale e specialmente dei sanitari impeccabile, ovunque disinfettanti a disposizione, la preparazione del personale sulle regole di igiene e sulla situazione particolare ha tranquillizzato me e le mie amiche fin dal primo momento. Alla fine con un po' di attenzione, alla quale siamo ormai tutti abituati, e' stato come trascorrere una normalissima piccola vacanza...
