We had searched for a long time to find the cheese we wanted. Here the shop keeper was both knowledgeable and enthusiastic with a clear passion for what he sold. We ended spending more than intended and have enjoyed it all since getting home. A wonderful find and just 2 minutes from our hotel. I wish we had found it earlier. A definite revisit on our return to Verona and will buy stuff on line from their website too

We were in Verona to attend a concert in the arena. We had limited time before the concert started and we were looking for a place to quickly grab something to eat. Fortunately we found La Botteghetta! We were able to create a wonderful meal to take with us to picnic in the arena. The selection was good and the staff was very friendly and helpful. TIP - you can take bottled water into the arena, you just have to remove the screw cap. Remove the cap and place it in your pocket before you get to the security line else the security will ask you to throw the cap away. Once in the arena, you can then put the screw cap back on your drink.

Natalie and Fillipo did a great job of hosting my family and I. Very friendly and fun way to taste some of Verona’s best wines.

Nice little grocery store. They have these marvelous crusty hollow buns. I wish I knew what they are called.
