Had a great time at the Kite Lab where you can expect a very friendly atmosphere and good vibes just a few steps away from the water. I had a blast with Clement during the course, and everything else was smooth thanks to Magda and Cesar, making sure you can get not only the most out of the conditions but also to enjoy your stay on the island.

fun 5 days of kiting. I started with the ability/level of doing weak waterstarts, after 4 days i was able to do my first inverted transition. Equipment is new, location is good. You only pay for the lesson you can actually use (e.g. if after 1 hour there is not sufficient wind, then the lesson is counted as half a lesson, which is different from other kiteschools). I can recommend the trainer Clement (French and English). The objective of this school is to make you become independent.

Some good instructors, but disorganised. Sure, this is a sport dependent on unpredictable weather conditions, but we were told both times on arrival to the kite lab that lessons would start hours late (or not at all) - this could be avoided with a text message when the delay is apparent. We had planned for a 3-day course and one of our instructors was changed after the first lesson and was not made aware of the previous lessons’ progress. Crucially, this instructor was hired last minute to cope with ‘additional demand’, and had little familiarity with the school and the gear. Walkie-talkies advertised as important on their website were in short supply/flat. We also weren’t allowed to rent their kites after our lessons due to ‘limited stock’, when discounted rental rates for kite lab students is advertised as a plus on their website. Overall we were left with a feeling that there was little interest and effort from the school to get us to progress in kite, not least because the guy in charge seemed disinterested both in his communication and overall interaction with us. We felt as if the school was focused on maximising quantity of classes, not quality (e.g., one lesson lasted for exactly one hour, as there was no wind, but we were initially billed for 1.5, which they agreed to reduce to 1 after challenge). We did nonetheless want to flag two positives: we thought Guillaume and Clement were excellent instructors, and the school is trusting when it comes to payment (we could pay by bank transfer after we left Marsala).

Amazing school! Professional instructors, top-notch equipment and positive vibes! My girlfriend have been learning with them and the results were outstanding! They can also help you to organise accomodation or transport, give useful tips about area and organise boat trips on no-wind days. And if you want to chill after/between session there is a bar on the spot! Well-deserved 5 star!

Super spot, świetni ludzie począwszy od właścicieli Magdy i Cezara po instruktorów. Każdy znajdzie coś dla siebie od początkujących ( tak jak ja) po osoby już zaawansowane. Magda służy pomocą w każdej sprawie od załatwienia noclegów po zaproponowanie atrakcji do zwiedzania w bezwietrzne dni i polecenie ciekawych knajpek z dobrym jedzeniem. Byłam tam pierwszy raz i na pewno nie ostatni.
