boarding in Genua is well organized (if you travel by motorbike); use online tickets to avoid exchanging vouchers in the office; cabins are farely small but clean; beverages and food is okayish 4/5 on ship: Announcements for restaurants are more or less useless and disturbing - useful informations are rarely provided to Traveller 3/5 if you are lucky staff is very friendly - otherwise don’t dare to ask any questions! You will end up frustrated and non the wiser

Nothing out of the norm! Foot passenger with no cabin. There is always enough space to put your sleeping bag. No reservations necessary.

Ferry I travelled was pretty old (22 years old), they really need to concentrate on the maintenance of the ship, not just the exterior painting. They have good number of crew members onboard but concentrating on things which are not important. Travel experience - 5/5 Ship cleanliness - 2/5 Staff behavior - 2/5 (I travelled from Barcelona to Genoa on GNV, i found only one staff helpful) they made only very few announcements in English.

Difficult to find the port and the service is horrible. To find somebody who speaks something else than Italian (tried English, Spanish, French and German) was not really possible. Overall the passengers helped others to find the way :) good point is that you can enter the shopping mall while waiting for the ferry and buy some drinks and food (on the ferries much to expensive and low quality)
