Incredibile! I can't say enough good things about this instructor. She's smart, motivated and quite effective at teaching. Her passion for teaching is evident in her lessons whether in a group or during private lessons. I studied with her for many months and am grateful for everything she has taught me!

Before deciding to come to Italy I studied Italian at home for 8 months. I was recommended to Ilaria by a friend and I was fortunate to study with her for a few hours a day for several weeks and i had a fantastic experience! I learnt more in the short time I spent with her than I did in the 8 months prior to going. Lessons were varied and relevant and we had fun! It was obvious she put a lot of effort into planning sessions, we didn’t just follow a set routine from a book. We played games, listened to audio recordings, had lessons in caffe’s and other places where I could put what I had learnt into practice! She really went above and beyond and did more than I would have ever expected. Also, having been to both Sorrento and Salerno, I think Salerno is better option when it comes to the Amalfi coast. All the access of Positano, Amalfi etc via bus and ferries, but less crowded, cheaper and it feels more like authentic Italy rather than a tourist trap. You can also walk to Vietri Sul Mare which is the first village on the coast.
