My wife and I arrived in Rome late and were looking for a good place to eat close to our hotel. We found this place on Google maps and it had a good rating so we thought we would give it a shot and we were not disappointed. The owner, Pasquina, served up her native Sardinian cuisine, nothing fancy but very tasty and oh so economical. The waiter (who spoke good English) was terrific and offered us an after dinner treat on the house, almond cookies and what appeared to be homemade mirth straight from the freezer. My only regret was that we were only able to eat there once. Saving that for the next visit to Rome.

This was a wonderful local restaurant in a rather unimpressive neighborhood. The waitress spoke only Italian, and had a menu written out on paper that she read to us. Thankfully I speak Italian, and could translate for our party of 9. She worked with us on our vegetarian requests, and we were not disappointed. The price was very reasonable as well. Visit this restaurant if you find yourself in this area of Rome.

Lovely place with great service and tasty food. Great value for money also, try antipasto do mare, you won’t be disappointed!

Amazing homemade Italian restaurant! Very accommodating for vegans. They made me a special zucchini lasagna without dairy or pasta and was deliciously refreshing. Staff was super friendly and eager to satisfy. The antipasto is set on a table so you can take or ask for what you want.
