Booked last minute to ride out. Staff are super friendly, Sonia took us out and was great! Horses all appear to be well looked after and happy. A good variety of horses for different disciplines and abilities. As we were visiting Tuscany on holiday we had no hat / boots with us, however we could borrow at the Riding school. Can highly recommend!
The atmosphere you breath at Il Paretaio is unique. Beware: the only risk is to fall in love with it ️
Very nice and well trained horses. Fantastic instructors. You can ride at your level, from beginner to advanced. The riding philosophy is that it should be done gently and elegantly. The owners and all staff around the place is kind and welcoming. The food is amazing as is the pool! And the surroundings - so very calm and beautiful! The rooms are perfect with a rustic charm. Ours had a view you couldn't get enough of. The fact that many of the guests were returning guests, speaks for itself. I hope to return myself! I highly recommend Il Paretaio. Its location also makes for perfect getaways for a few hours or for the day, to Siena, Florence and Pisa and to several smaller towns.

I love Il Paretaio. I have been back 5 times and will definitely return. The horses are lovely and treated well. Even as an experienced rider you will learn and get new inputs. I noticed that some people complain about the road. I come with my Mazda 6 and have no problems at all. The food is home cooked and delicious. I have met a bunch of great people over the years. Since the rooms are in a historic farm house, you will hear others from time to time. But after an exciting day riding or visiting sights, everbody retires early to be well rested for riding the next day :-) I can only recommend it. It is great for refreshing your dressage skills, relax, enjoy some good food, visit Tuscany in between lessons and meet fantastic people from around the world.
Very good place to stay. Food was delicious and room was gorgeous! I can totally recommend it. The ride out was really nice, we had a good instructor and a beautiful view.
A magical place for horse and food lovers - rustic but comfortable accommodation and well trained horses, run by enthusiastic and caring people. Genuine Tuscan food cooked under the eagle eye of Nonna - nothing is too much trouble . I have been going there for 5 years and have so much respect for the way it is run that last year I moved my own horse from England to Il Paretaio and now have even more of an excuse to revisit regularly.
