What a wonderful, friendly hotel with gorgeous views in every direction! Sparklingly clean with amazing staff who really care. I was going to have a family member with me. Although that didn't work out, the front desk team remembered this detail when I checked in. The housekeeping team always remembered me and were very kind asking if there was anything I needed. The hotel is situated directly above the marina with a fabulous terrace for use anytime. The southern view from my private balcony is equally stellar. My room was spacious by any standard and very well equipped. Hotel La Bussola is the perfect location to access everything in Amalfi - boats, busses, taxis, and the town itself. It was a perfect stay for a week of events, sightseeing, and a wedding with friends and family. Highest recommendation!

We loved the Hotel La Bussola. We could see it as we entered from the water and were very happy that it was a short (flat) walk from the Ferry Terminal. Our large room had a gorgeous view out to the water and was very comfortable. The hotel staff (I think family run) were warm, helpful, and accommodating. This was one of our favorite stays in Italy.
Loved the location. Right next to the water and the have a dock where you can swim or relax in the sun. Very close the the center of Amalfi as well. Rooms are nice, staff is nice. Breakfast buffet is decent. I would stay here again.
Such friendly staff and awesome area next to everything waking distance! Beautiful views. If you want to be by the water, near restaurants and town center, and by the port that’ll take you around the coast, stay here!! Get the water view room too if you’re looking to enjoy nice views from your room. We went in the month of August!
We booked another hotel that did not have our room so they sent us to this hotel for the night. Arrival at this hotel where we had no reservation was the best service of our travels. The front desks was amazing helpful on how to travel, how to take the hikes we wanted, offered perspectives on options and took us to our rooms to ensure we were ok. The hotel was convenient. It’s on the water with a great deck view on the 5th level for drinks in the evenings and has some waterfront to lay in chairs in the front of it. The accommodations were nice and the hotel was great. We tried to stay here the next 2 nights but it did not work and we had to go to our original booking.
Great location, very central to downtown Amalfi. Hotel always clean, however we found bedroom and bathroom to be very small. Drinks on the terrace bar was very special. Meals from restaurant just average.
Family owned hotel with nice, clean rooms. We were lucky and got one of the rooms with a seaside view. Just stunning. We also joined one of the promoted hikes and had an awesome time. The staff was super friendly and very supportive. Would definitely come back. The terrace with umbrellas and beach chairs was priceless during the 32 degree midday sun. Big plus: you don’t have to walk up the hill with your luggage and still have a fantastic view.
The place and location were great. The whole save the environment with lights turning off was odd but we got use to it because it wasnt hot. The fromt desk staff was very nice and helpful. The roof top hotel offered a nice escape and amazing views and Alessandro plus Joshua offered great services with drink plus they were very helpful and just all around great. We loved it.
