We went to Italy for a wedding and this was the closest hotel to the venue. Overall it was an okay hotel stay, although the place was definitely not the cleanest. I have some OCD so I like to see things clean, what I don't like however, is cleaning up cobwebs that are easily noticeable. The hotel staff were very nice so no complaints here. If I was to compare it to a UK hotel it’d be similar to a best western or Holiday-inn level establishment. It was perfectly in the middle, if I could, I’d give it a 2.5 out of 5. The only other issue I had was the gym, if you can see by the photo’s I’ve taken the gym is pretty small, there are no free-weights and the running machine was broken. I hope they invest some money there. Oh and I forgot, a smoker obviously stayed in our room before we did, we went onto the balcony and it was covered in cigarette ash, so much so that we didn't really go out there, please get your cleaners to clean the rooms balcony too.

Beautiful mill transformed into a hotel with taste. Great place. Rooms are simply beautiful, perfectly clean. Personnel is professional with a slight friendly touch. Breakfast is great. I'll be happy to come back!
The pros: very friendly and helpful staff; clean hotel and room; good location within walking distance of the town center and a 20-40 drive to other very popular cities like Siena and San Gimignano; the wifi worked very well, even allowing us to connect to a 2 hour zoom meeting with only a slight amount of lag. The cons: a hard mattress that we never got used to after 4 nights; the breakfast was nothing special; the TV in our room had a couple issues: it was small and mounted too high on the wall for comfort, it wasn't a smart TV with wifi connection or the ability to screencast from another device which means no Netflix, and our TV only got 4 channels of Italian state-run television. The staff tried in vain to fix it for us, so we were left with whatever we could watch on our tablets in an agricultural town with no nightlife. The worst part is that they didn't try to compensate us at all. No discount. Nothing free for our inconvenience. Please make an effort to provide the services we are paying for.

The hotel is quiet close to a main road on the edge of Certaldo. The pool isn't as nice as it looks on the website. The staff were very nice and Certaldo old town is pretty.
Lovely hotel, spaious room with king bed. Breakfast was wonderful! All staff were very friendly and helpful. Little walk to town but not bad at all. We would love to come back.
Good restaurant with limited menu. Wide rooms. Nice park. Parking place available. Overall a nice experience.
