Piemonte is a trade-union Vocational Training Agency which was nationwide established in 1958 and it operates in the Piedmontese territory since 1991. The Agency is officially recognized by Regional Authority and the activities it carries out are non–profit-making, since they are co-funded by the Regional Authority, the Province of Turin and the European Union. En.F.A.P. Piemonte legal headquarters is placed in Grugliasco, just outside Turin, and it grants its presence in the Piedmontese area through many operative headquarters placed in the city of Turin as well as in San Secondo di Pinerolo, Alessandria, Asti, Alba (CN). It is a member to the “Patto Territoriale del Pinerolese” and to the “Zona Ovest di Torino” and it is founder member and part of the CENFOP Association, which aims at gathering the most representative training agencies of the Piedmontese area. The training center is certified according to the UNI EN ISO 9001:2000 laws concerning the quality management system and since 2003 it is has been licensed by the Regional Authority to operate in the following activity areas: - Obbligo formativo, compulsory training that allows students to attend training activities until the age of 18; -Higher education for postgraduate students; -Lifelong learning; -Apprenticeship; -Continuing education for employed people; -Orientation and training; -Counselling; -Support to work placement En.F.A.P. Piemonte advances three main services: Training, Orientation and Services to Enterprise-Oriented Services.
