I enjoyed the challenge. The course is tough when the wind blows and many holes have water to negotiate. The tees could be in better condition but the fairways and greens were okay - not fantastic but adequate. Great views of the Julian Alps from some holes. It was a very friendly welcome with a driving range and a nice bar/restaurant.

Almost heat stroked out here today. 97F and no beverage cart service. The turn doesn't stop at the clubhouse either, just a simple shack with a soda machine on hole 11. Fairways have rows of grass clippings that stick to your ball, few trees to escape the sun and the entire course is littered in goose poop. Had to walk today because, \all the carts are reserved for the Audi tournament\ - playing behind us. (There were 3 carts at the clubhouse when we quit) I said quit because my head was pounding so bad from heat exhaustion and dehydration we skipped the last 3 holes. Only thing that saved me was a cold shower in the locker room moments before I passed out. This course couldn't get away with 25 green fees in the states and they were hosting a sponsored tournament today. Paid 69
Worst golf experience, scheduled an outing here with high hopes. To begin, it’s the hottest day of the year so far and they were out of carts due to a tournament they were hosting that day. Then the marshal was telling us to pick up the pace even though we were 10 minutes ahead of pace after 5 holes. There was zero places to refill our waters and zero cart service. Will not recommend this course to anyone traveling through Italy.
