Next to the ticket office on the right hand side is a door, looks like a staff entrance, very unassuming, with a little card with the name of the shop Giacomo Caffè. Enter and you are instantly transported to a bygone era, high ceilings, walls adorned by mirrors and a great bar. Food is wonderful, the coffee is great and the atmosphere is just absolutely fantastic, as is the staff, in their white shirts, and black pants and apron, they look good!!! Has an upstairs area also, sometimes it's closed, a little library with tables, overlooking the lower room If you ever visit Milan, this place I highly recommend!!!!

Cosy place with outdoor seating as well on the first floor. Must try the local beer. Complimentary crisps and nuts. Old style cafè setting.

A wonderful venue. Eat upstairs or down, inside or out. Incredible coffee menu. Get a light bite, a meal or cakes. Pleasingly old fashioned.

I got the feeling that tourists were being escorted to a tent outside the real establishment, rather than offend the well dressed regulars with their presence. It's a valid approach, in the age of over-touristing, but I find it hard to positively recommend because of it. The most charming clientele were the little sparrows that brazenly flew around the tent, picking up crumbs.

A small cafe besides the Museo Duomo. Ordered anericano and it came with a shot of expresso and a cup of hot water. You will have to mix it for yourself. First time it was presented this way. Cheesecake with nutella is quite good. Cheese is smooth. A bit cozy with traditional coffee tables/chairs.
