What a wonderful experience! If you are visiting Rome, do not leave without attending this cooking experience. It is more than a cooking class. Giacomo is a "super host", very knowledgeable about the modern and ancient food culture of Rome. He led us throughout the charming ruins in one of the most incredible archeological park of the city. We foraged wild leaves and flowers along the way, and then we got to the beautiful farmhouse for the cooking session. We cooked the entire lunch (4 courses) using the foraged food and other selected ingredients as well. Giacomo told as about the story and the producer of every food we used. It was really interesting to learn how to make fresh pasta with ancient flours made with the same type of cereals used since the ancient romans times! The meal was paired with 1 craft beer, 2 local great wines and homemade liquors. Well done Giacomo. Thank you for the amazing experience! I'll be back one day.
