The place to be to rent a Vespa in Napels. Great service and good recommendations where to go. We did not feel quite safe to park the Vespa in the streets overnight, we got offered to park the Vespa in front of the house of one of the employees. (he had camera surveillance, Quartieri Spagnoli red.) If you don’t have any experience driving a scooter, then don’t drive in Napels. The Italian way of driving is not the same as the rest of Europe. You should have decent experience before you are able to drive a scooter/car here. This is not to scare you off at all, just an advice! Don’t be scared to drive, be tough. Luciano and the rest of the staff; keep up the good work, we really enjoyed our time travelling from Napels to Vesuvio and Sorrento/Positano.
We rented 2 vespa motorcycles and scooters, they delivered them at the hotel entrance, the vehicles were perfect, \almost new\, the 4 protective helmets they provided us were scented, and I understood that they had sanitized of the inside of the helmet. Great professionalism, excellent price for the quality of the service and the means. For me 5 stars.
One night my mother and I were dining in the heart of Naples. A beautiful car came up front and the owner let us take pictures of it inside the car. Afterwards we were talking and he told us that he rented scooters. My mother and I still wanted to do that, so we arranged that we would go to Gallo Sprint the next day to show our skills on a scooter (we had only driven on a scooter once before). We also exchanged numbers, so we could easily stay in touch. On sunday we were there at the time we had agreed upon, but only Mario was there. He offerd us some really cold water, but despite a few a calls Luciano didn't show up. After 1.5 hours we were done waiting and desided to leave. We were called and texted by Luciano a few times after we left. We answerd the phone, quite annoyed. He told us a 1000 times he was really sorry and he offered us a scooter for free in the evening. We decided to accept his offer and that was the best decision ever! We immediatly made a reservation for wednesday to rent a scooter for a day. Our trip on sunday was to a place Luciano had told us was beautiful. Our trip was wonderfull! Today we hired the scooter for a whole day and we saw beautiful places around Naples. It was awesome to see Naples from different angles! Overall Luciano was very helpfull and carrying about us, just as Mario, altough we didn't really spoke the same language. Luciano really felt bad for what happened, but he made it more than up to us! We would really advice anyone to rent a scooter at Gallo Sprint, as the service and the scooters are a pleasure!
