Located on the outskirts of town, opposite the Courthouse, the restaurant is a bit uncomfortable to reach if you don’t have a car but, if you drive, the good news is that there are many free parking spaces in the area. Fishmarket has a stylish, urban décor inside and an outdoor veranda used in the Summer months. The fish they serve as a starter is fresh and very tasty: their signature “Fishmarket Starter” is a good selection of their ready-to-go dishes (they do take-away as well and have a fishmonger’s counter) and the portion is large enough to be an enjoyable, quick lunch. I tried a pasta dish as well but the pasta itself was overcooked and the swordfish sauce wasn’t that tasty. The glass of Chardonnay I had was of very good quality and perfectly chilled. In my opinion, the price I paid was slightly high, considering that everything but the wine gets served in paper dishes/cups (coffee and water included) and they also charge you for the service (aka “coperto”) in the bill.
