We recently ate here and loved it so much we went back! You do pay to sit there which we didn’t mind as we watched the fish market which was entertaining. The food was great! Compared to a lot of other places we tried this was good. I would highly recommend the cured salmon, whitebait fritters, Mussels, stuffed sardines they are all on the tapas menu and for main the scampi with pistachio linguine! Amazing!! Honestly the food was good service in Italy is slow in general and we actually found them really lovely and very friendly.

Despite lots of bad comments, we had a great experience here. Prices were fully ok for a tourists place (bier ca. 4 ). A bottle of wine 14 to 25. We had antipasti with round 10 small plates of fish and seafood, and on the top a grilled fish, which we have chosen from ice counter ourselves. Everything was very tasty and fresh! Extra many thanks to our waiter named Ready, who has even cleaned up our grilled fish from bones. Location - directly behind the fountain, so be ready to appear on fotos of other people ;) All in all it was definitely worth to come to the restaurant. If we are again in Catania, we would swing by again.

At the beginning everything was alright, food came, an error happened about the order(something that can happen). Food was horrible (only spaghetti carbonara are alright). Awful meal in front of the fish market that smells very bad... At the end, error on the ticket (made by the waiter himself) waiters became very agressive and paying with credit card didn't seem to please the man... Had to left very early because of the animosity we felt there...

Great food, very fast service. Probably the best mussels I’ve ever tried. Highly recommended! (Seems like before these guys were bad, but now they improved)

Worst experience in Catania. Forced service charge plus additional charge (6 euros) for the salad that comes with the main dish. Misleading bill and feels like being cheated.

Awful experience This guy ruined our day... I wont recommend even there is no other place to go...Food is expensive and quantity with quality is very low... Along with this, fun fact is u have to pay 4 euro as service charge that to sit outside next to fish market

If we could give this place zero stars we would. We only sat down because we were hounded by the marketing girl outside. Not only was the food terrible (the fish WAS NOT fresh - sardines awful stuffed with a mushy, bland stuffing and the swordfish was spent - both the taste and look was grey, tired and unpleasant - disgraceful given its location) but the worst (and I see from these reviews, no uncommon) was the individual/front of house, who was not only rude but aggressive, unapologetic and completely disregarded our concerns, which we expressed in a reasonable manner. Avoid if you can!!!!

I suggest you not pick this restaurant. The food was average but most important they don't accept credit cards. They don't tell you upfront and when you attempt to pay the check with credit card they point the ATM machine in the piazza. Rude and very commercial place.
