We visited at Christmas. There was a Christmas Market that filled the Square. The Square looked great at night lit up. There was a great selection of stores selling Christmas Decorations and Gifts and well as places to eat and drink. We stayed in an apartment that down on the Piazza which was great.

Beautiful square with lots of little shops. The church has some beautiful carvings if you look closely. Lovely and quiet in low season!
Cozy and beautiful square surrounded by restaurants, street artists and shops.
A mandatory stop in Florence. Beware of scammers selling tickets to cut the (very long) line. As the entrance is free, everyone must wait. And if you are part of a tour with a guide, be prepared to wait in line. The visit is quite worth it. But if you booked a 2h visit with a guide, well your guide will likely talk to you while in line and the your guided tour will last 5 min once inside.
Santa Croce Square with many beautiful buildings and Cathedral.
Nice plaza surrounded by restaurants and diverse shops. Good place to relax, and just take in the vibe of the city . It's pretty close to the Palazzo Vecchio and the Santa Maria Di fiori cathedral. It has a superb statue of Dante Alighieri.
The Piazza is very nice. It was such a fun to straw there and enjoy the beautiful cathedral di Santa Croce.
Beautiful square and very nice place to relax near the cathedral Sanra Croce.
