The service is curt but efficient and the food is quite perfection. Just prices, even on the cheap side, for Florence. With the beef you’ll be quite pleased. The house red wine is served cold - which I happen to love. The cheesecake is served with jam on top, not my choice, so that’s my only complaint. Can’t ever go wrong with their tartufo pasta! Outdoor seating... so pleasant.

This place is more like an eatery when it comes to the overall experience. Dishes come pretty quickly and are just smashed on the plate, never mind the splatters. The waiter does his job perfecty when it comes to taking orders and bringing them to your table but he is not the kind of guy who takes a minute to have a joke around or asks how things are going, I could almost see him easily being replaced in 10 years time by a robot with a more human personality than his. Nevertheless everything was tasty and for 27.50 each we couldn’t have been better fed around here.
One of the best restaurants I have ever been. Delicious food and very good wine for decent prices. This family owned restaurant is worth to go several times. The Fiorentina beef steak is fantastic, but you should also try the pasta and dessert dishes. Make a reservation in advance for outside dinning (especially in the evening!).
The food was excellent and the service was even more excellent. The waiters kept checking on us and made excellent recommendations. It’s inexpensive compared to other places and we had a lot of meat to share for two when we ordered the 1kg Florentine steak. It’s a very local place, highly recommended. I would recommend making reservations as you can wait a bit if you don’t have any, which we didn’t know about so we went early, at 7pm and there were already 2 people in line, though the place opens at 7:30pm, and we got to sit around 8pm, so it worked out perfectly.
We came here end of August 2020 for a Fiorentina steak, due to the many good reviews. We were disappointed with the experience, which overall was not bad but definitely not excellent. The steak was good (I had better) but was served cold. The pasta with Truffle was not special either. On the other hand the staff was nice and welcoming.
