Second time we’ve stayed here and did not disappoint. Daniela is an amazing host and looked after us very well. Location is close to Fiesole which is about 20 by car to Florence centre. Apartments all well equipped and clean. Great for a family holiday with private pool. Our young girls loved it!

My wife and I could not have asked for more during our stay in Tuscany. The accommodations provide a unique experience that is breathtakingly beautiful and charming. The views of the hills north of Florence and the city were simply too spectacular to express in words. Finally, Daniela could not have been more hospitable or helpful. Renting is not absolutely necessary while staying at Giuncarelli, but having one proved to be a big help. The walk to the number 7 Bus stop into Florence was just under 30 minutes. If you have any mobility issues, this would be a real challenge. If not, it is certainly doable, especially if you are trying to get your step count up. We spent a day or so without a car and made it work, but the car simplified the experience as it was just a few minutes drive with ample free parking near the square. The temperature was warm to hot while we were there and our apartment remained quite comfortable with the help of a fan or two. There are some very good restaurants in the square, our favorite being Buca della Fate. There is a grocery store, "COOP" that is a short walk from the square. Check the hours if you wish to cook back in your room. They take a several hour break in the middle of the day and closed by 8pm. If you take a day to relax around Casale Giuncarelli and Fiesole, check out Poggio la Noce, a nice vineyard that's an exciting 25 minute drive away. Roads are narrow but the service and experience at the winery was top notch for us. I can't recommend Casale Giuncarelli enough. It was a special part of our stay for a price that felt more than fair.
Casale Giuncarelli and its hostess Daniela are really superbe.... we stayed in casa Farnia with the greatest view on Firenze from the hillside... close to the swimming pool. This place is perfect for peaceful week and rest or to visit the beautiful Toscane... We visited Sienna and surroundings ... but really you do not have to drive that far: there is an astonishing historical site in the centre of Fiesole really worthwhile visiting. And there are some really nice restaurants along the market too (Terrazza 45!!! With fabulous view on Firenze). We spent a perfect week in the hills of Fiesole. Thank you Daniela for the warm welcome and the nice chats in the morning while watering the plants in company of your 2 cute and gentle dogs... your 'shadows' as you called them We will certainly return. Casale Giuncarelli is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beauty of this part of Tuscany. Couldn't think of a better location honestly: the swimming pool is a little slice of heaven to soothe yourself during the summer heat; in a few minutes you can reach Fiesole - one of the most ancient towns in Italy, home of the Roman amphitheater, a stunning archeological wonder. In about 20 minutes or less you can easily arrive in Florence and immerse yourself in the most amazing town in the world, visit the Duomo, Galleria degli Uffizi and a myriad of architectural and art masterpieces. Then, once your senses will be full, you'll be happy to find your way back to the quietness and comfort of Casale Giuncarelli, maybe eat outside your apartment in the adjacent private garden, al fresco, listening to the sound of crickets and enjoying the scent of a thousand different flowers. Highly recommended.

Gran bel posto, immerso nel verde delle colline di Firenze a soli 5 km dal centro. Ci siamo trovati molto bene, appartamento molto bel arredato (compreso cucina) con tutto il necessario per passare alcuni giorni in relax e molto ben pulito. In fine un complimento alla proprietaria la Signora Daniela per l'ospitalità e la disponibilità che ci ha dato.
