Project (Reference: 572742-EPP-1-2016-1-IT-EPPKA3-SUP-APPREN) received financial support from the program “Erasmus+”, Key Action 3 (Support for Policy Reform - Support for SMEs engaging in apprenticeships). Project duration: from 1 Oct 2016 to 30 Sep 2018. Total amount of the Project: 509.667,42 euro. F.A.I.R. Project wants to change mind-sets of SMEs towards apprenticeships, through the activation of contributions from a broad partnership bringing together companies and key stakeholders from the employment and education sectors. Social partners, business associations, public authorities will cooperate sharing ideas and resources in order to increase the number of companies providing placements, particularly involving those with no previous experience of apprenticeships and focusing on the first and third levels (dual approach). They will be coordinated by the Chambers of Commerce with the final intention that these intermediary bodies will become permanent territorial landmarks with support structures for fostering the work-based learning culture in enterprises. The Project will be implemented by the international consortium consisting of: Formaper - Agency of Milan Chamber of Commerce (Italy); Citta’ Metropolitana di Milano (Milan, Italy); Ecole – Enti Confindustriali Lombardi per l’Education (Milan, Italy); the Chamber of Commerce of Valencia (Valencia, Spain); Ayuntamiento de Alzira (Alzira Comunidad Valenciana, Spain); Asociacion Empresarial Alzira (Alzira, Spain); the Association “European Academy” (Bucharest, Romania); Chamber of Commerce of Giurgiu (Giurgiu, Romania); the General Union of Industrialists of Romania (Bucharest, Romania); the County Agency for Work of Giurgiu (Giurgiu, Romania). Formaper, the team leader of the project, is an organization specialized in EU projects and trainings, connected with the Chamber of Commerce of Milan.
