We found here accidentally and took our attention because of the long queue in frint of the Restaurant. The mushrooms mixture were very tasty, it was socked in the vinegar, lemon and mixture of herbs. Butter and Anchovies is fits well to eachother. Bacalla (code) fish was fresh hpwere the bread crumbs was very thick! We have to remove it the price is very good

This place is very popular ally Italians and tourists because it’s very traditional and good quality fish. The fried cod was pretty good, with a tasty batter )(too thick maybe?) at a good price (6eur). However, I ordered chickpeas that where the same price as the cod and they were somewhat disappointing: simply boiled and cold. Next time I would get the fried fish for sure or tried a different starter.

Very traditional restaurant in the heart of Rome. Very cozy and local. You have the option to buy a fried fish to take away, which is given folded on a paper. The service is fine, they speak english and is served in a \tapas\ manner. The fish and chips from Rome. The house wine is pretty good and prices overall are very reasonable!

Felt like a very local restaurant, great old style atmosphere and great food and service. (Found out about it from the Anthony Bourdain episode in Rome)

This must be part of your Roman experience. Salted cod is a staple food, easy, tasty, and warm on a cold winter night. This was my go to late night food stop when I lived here; now it’s any time I’m in town. Most people just walk straight to the back where the kitchen is and order their delicious takeaway from there, wrapped in paper. You can also sit and have a draft. Other places have bacala as an appetizer option, but this place makes it a specialty.
