Although this hotel has a difficult driveway, it has a friendly service and delicious food. Also, when you come from a challenging journey, you will find tidy and cleaned rooms. You also have a beautiful view of the mountains from the terrace and this can be wonderful for taking pictures.

If you are considering this place as a stop on the Alta Via please do. The view is stunning, the building is spotless and the staff really friendly. Food is lovely after 10 hours walking

Perfect location to start hiking, via ferrata, or climbing. The private hut delivers a warm and cozy atmosphere. Delicious cuisine, wonderful friendly and always helpful staff, clean rooms, a warm shower - nothing to miss. Stunning views from their terrace included, particularly at sunset. Big parking, a bit challenging drive uphill - nevertheless, its worth!!

Visited again in August 2019. We came aspecially by car, to celebrate the completion of our AV1 hike. It was wonderful again, this time we ate lunch from the menu (last time it was dinner). Everything was superb. I added more photos. --- Review from August 2018: We stayed for 2 nights in room #1 as we hiked a short segment of AV1 with 3 kids (ages:16/12/9). They have 2 buildings - the main Refugio with 6 rooms and another building (the one which actually seen first on google) with additional 6. We loved everything about the place. First the view. I could practically seat for hours looking at the amazing view. You see the Cinque Torre and it’s beautifully. At 2000m the Refugio is Just at the end of the Forrest so you get lots of green around you and still you are basically seating below the Tufan amazing cliff. Finally the food was great. We call the place “Dibognocchi” because of the fantastic Gnocchi. The best we ate in Italy. Bathrooms are shared but they are super clean with plenty of hot water and fantastic pressure. And the nature around with endless hiking trails and numerous via ferratas for all grades and difficulties. Just looking to spend some more time.

Welcoming staff and a cozy stay - we arrived early and had first choice for the bed, we had a smaller more private area upstairs.

Comfortable rifugio. Staff were nice and the food was quite hearty, exactly what you need after a long day of hiking.

Food is good, price is with high mountain surcharge (beer 5EUR, double espreso 2EUR ). Toilet for free. Big parking place but terrible access road (not good for low chassis). Not to much place for seating inside but terase is big enough. Service quite good (don't order ketchup they will not bring it ;) )
