My girlfriend and I had the honor of cooking together with Diego and his mother. It is not the most famous cooking course in the area (it started last year) but it was truly fantastic! Diego picked us up at our b & b and brought us home again in the evening. Very nice, especially since you can enjoy the delicious wine and spritz this way. Diego has been cooking for ten years at other (also well-known) restaurants and you will notice that much during the lesson. In addition to learning more about traditional Italian cuisine, you also feel his passion and love for cooking. You work almost exclusively with fresh ingredients from their own garden (we had the menu based on the typical Amalfi lemon, Il Limone). Bonus is his cheerful and spontaneous mother who taught us how to make fresh pasta and one of her favorite dishes: fried zucchini flowers, filled with ricotta (delicious!). With traditional Italian dishes, Diego is never afraid to give his own twist to a dish. I can say with certainty that it is one of the best cooking courses I have taken. With lots of room for explanation, questions and tests. So if you are looking for a cooking course that will extensively teach you how Italian cuisine works, this is definitely recommended.
