Omg omg. So much cheap (and nice, of course, it's all Italian) wine, pasta, cheese, grissini...... Bring a massive bag. Usually packed on Sundays, with all the hungry French.

Great Italian supermarket, with great butcher, freshly sliced hams & cheeses, fresh vegetables, beautiful plants & cut flowers

Good for quick shipping but very busy road and small car park on the rear.

Can be very busy at checkout. Fruit and vegetables always look good quality.

Just came today from shopping in the Conad supermarket in Latte which I think is a commune of Ventimille. We came there especially for the fruit and vegetables because most of the produce in the shop actually comes from ITALY!!! I see that everyone finds it negative that everything is a bit all over the place but I think it's quite fun to look around and different things in different corners of the shop. It doesn't mean it's dirty. We have a shop in France called the Foirfouille which means a bit the same thing that you can rummage around for things but since they redid all their shops everything is neat and tidy and the rummaging around charm of things has disappeared. No problem with parking because got ticket validated directly at the checkout. Got to be a bit organised sometimes and have that ticket accessible to hand it over. What I think is really great with Italian supermarkets is when you get the cashier bill. In the VAT column it is clearly indicated which products are at 4% which ones are at 10% and which ones are at 22% so you know where you are at. In France this is never ever detailled on the bill even though there are supposed to be different products at different rates but you have no way of knowing. My Italian neighbours say there are other Conad supermarkets in Vintimille but it's very difficult to park so this one is definitely the one to go to when you are coming with the car and want to stock up. Will be coming back when the fridge is empty
