Excellent pizza and great prices! Absolutely delicious. I could go every day. Update: I've gone 3 times in 5 days and each time the food is amazing! I've eaten in Florence and the food has yet to compare to this place. If it was up to me I'd come every day for lunch or dinner or both. Here are pictures of a few of the dishes I've had: Tagliatelle with tomatoes clams and muscles; Napoli pizza, Vegetarian Pizza. My friend had a Porcino pizza. The Tiramisu is amazing as well. If you stay near Florence, come to Pala & Matterello in Sesto Fiorentino, it's worth it and not expensive at all. The owner and staff are super nice and speak English.

The place was not that big. So the food was okay. Service was not good enough for my standards they even forgot to bring my dessert but then we cancelled it. A good place to try and dine.
I have tried 3 pizzas in Florence during my 2 day stay and this was the best. All 3 were from high rated restaurants in trip advisor and Google maps. Their pizza was really good. The dough was great and so was the overall taste. I also recommend the cheesecake in cup. It's tasty.
Excellent service and delicious food! After a long day sightseeing in Florence we searched everywhere for a restaurant with parking. We came upon Pala e Matterello by accident, and were presently surprised by the tasty pizza, pasta and dessert. The hot chocolate - like drinking chocolate - was a treat. Plus the service was excellent. We would definitely recommend this restaurant!
A great place to stop at after visiting the ville medici, la Petraia and Castello, with very convincing dishes, tasteful and creative, very fair prices and a friendly service. Do not expect a trendy or fashionable restaurant, but a nice and very positive experience.
