1000 yo cathedral, that’s enough to describe this wonderful church! On the back of it you can access the tower and see the beautiful historic center from a different prospective! Highly recommend

Per me Sansepolcro é stata una sorpresa incredibile. É un connubio perfetto di arte e storia. La cattedrale è imponente e maestosa da fuori. Dentro, appena varcata la soglia si respira quel senso di religiosità seria e senza fronzoli propria del monachesimo. È una cattedrale museo! Sono rimasta colpita dell'opera del Perugino, l'Ascensione (1510 circa) e dal Crocifisso e dalla Madonna col bambino (entrambe statue lignee) che si trovano a sinistra dell'altare. I colori del Perugibo hanno un effetto calamita per gli.occhi. Stupendo!! Sono presenti veramente tante opere, ma la visita permette soprattutto di sentire la devozione religiosa medievale. Accanto alla Cattedrale si trova il museo diocesano con la stupenda Cappelka di San Leonardo. Consigliatissima!!
