Great little hidden gem of a restaurant. Wife and I walked past and decided to go on. Very cute \mum and dad\ feel to the place. Not very big inside but we were there early so got a seat easily. First we got a beetroot taster which was a freebie. Very cool. Next we had the beef tartare and or was real high quality. Tasted awesome and enough of a taste for two. Next I ordered the beef cheek. The waiter have me a sharper knife but when it arrived I didn't see a point to the knife at all. The meat was falling apart perfectly. Was very tasty onto of mashed potatoes and sauce. Wife ordered a lasagna which she noted was the best she has ever had. The best non pasta/ pizza meal I've had since being in Italy. Absolutely great meal and cost was 34 for two mains and an entree.

A place for true foody, they are part of the slow food group, serves beef and ham of curated quality. Best in town with very reasonable price. Not to be missed.

Wonderful local dining establishment with a slightly higher end vibe yet still very humble and affordable. About 10-15 for pastas and rissotos, 16-20 for meats and seafood. Glasses of wine for roughly 5-7 each. Everything was delicious and our waiter was wonderful, serving everything on time and describing each dish in detail. The environment is also wonderful and quiet and out of the tourist area.

I loved the modern spin on classic traditional Tuscan dishes and the attention to the quality of the ingredients. Lorenzo, our waiter, explained all the specifics of why they chose different local producers. Great wine list either. True ambassadors of the slow food values.

Kind staff, wonderful food and an authentic Florentine experience. You will not go wrong with anything on the menu. Ask your server for a suggestion and you will receive a meal only found in Florence or Tuscany. The staff was very knowledgeable about the dishes and wine. This was a perfect find.
