This place is stunning i absolutely loved my visit here. The little church on the beach is well worth a visit and also the real history into this church is worth looking up. It is only 3.00 entry charge for as long as you want. It is interesting too see all the hand made stone statues. The Beach is absolutely stunning and clean. It's not usually to busy, but a lot of tourist buses stop to visit here. There are little bars/cafe's here too so it's the perfect place to pull over. Just 10 minutes drive along the road from here there is Pizzo another place worth a visit.

Very interesting church located in cave with statues and interesting legend of establishment. Working hours are till 1pm in the morning and afternoon. The entry is few euro worth and also 5 euro for the parking on the top. There is a beach next to the cave visiting which you can combine with sightseeing :-)
I stopped by here while going to Tropea. Really beautiful place and the story behind it.
You wouldn't even know it was there becase the Church Piedigrotta is off the road and down a path and it's not really sign posted well. However, it's well worth the time to find.
A place worth visiting. I haven't seen such a church yet. A lot of stone carvings.
Unique experience, but a bit away from the center of town. Hit it on your way in your out of town by car or hire one of the local guides to take you.
Cute chapel built into the stone wall. Wörth a visit if you are in the area. The legend behind it is also not to bad.
Small but unique place. Church carved in stone just near to the beach. Origin on this place is in nineteenth century. Legend says that during storm painting of Madonna landed here after stranding of vessel on which was transported. Right now you could see inside copy of the painting and very interesting groups of sculptures made by Angelo Barone.
