San Quirico d'Orcia, Italy

Amazing location and structure, love the simplicity and the whole setting. You need to park at walk to the location, it's a beautiful walk and there is a nice farm next to it. The whole area is just beautiful to wonder around, too hot to come around this time of the year but will be back when weather is cooler.

When in Val d'Orcia, Tuscany you must pay a visit to this charming historical little cappella nestled between the fields. To get in front of this tiny secluded chapel you have to walk for around 10min. When you get there you will see the breathtaking views of the rolling hills of Tuscany and long roads framed with cypress trees. I would highly recommend to come here to watch the sunset, but be prepared for a lot of visitors watching it with you, especially during summer months. No matter if it is crowded or not, this place is always striking beautiful and looks like a painting.
This is an off the beaten path, special place to visit. If you do the Rick Steves Heart of Tuscany driving tour, this is a fairly easy addition to your itinerary. Be prepared to walk the last half mile to get there.
A very beautiful place. A must see. It's not so easy to get there as you need to walk a while. Once you are there, it's really worth.
Great stop off on the way to Pienza, about 10 min away, for sweeping views of the countryside. Iconic photo opportunity to be taken. The road to the chapel is a dusty stone road with a little car park at the end. You then have to walk about 5 minutes to the Chapel.
