Love this patisserie, everything they do taste delicious. Their speciality is panettone and they produce it all year round. It comes in a huge array of flavours and you can try them all from their little kiosk outside the entrance. My favourites are the pistachio and the betty ones. I found their panettones also here in London in some Italian shops and from online stores but I wish they had their own online store to purchase from them directly, it would be much easier.

I just opened the panettone pere e cioccolato (pears and chocolate) I was gifted and it was very disappointing. It is not artisanal, it’s dry, tasteless and with poor quality ingredients. I really don’t know what this fuzz is all about and I would definitely not recommend this brand, which in terms of quality compares with brands you find in supermarkets but still markets its products at artisanal prices

Home of the Pope Panettone! You can go wrong, if you are in Castel Buono you have to try this place! Large choice of Panettone, the best ones are the one not in the tin case. They are light and generous, this is typical Italian / Sicilian pastry. We were staying a Cefalù, we went back to Castel Buono twice for Panettone, this is how good it is.
