Do yourself a favour and check out this historic "Fattoria" (farm). This is a touch of how "real Tuscan life" was. They produce their own wine, olive oil, pasta and flour. My mother loves the pasta, made in a traditional way with ancient grains. I was there for the wines. Claudio took us on a tour and I must say his knowledgeable not only of the wines, but also the history of the area is fantastic. The wines are well made and quality/price point is excellent. Step back in time, tasting the "real" Toscana.

Fattoria Santa Vittoria was one of the single best experiences my partner and I had on our entire, short trip through Italy! I called up on the day, and asked if they were available for a winery tour, I wasn't hopeful, as asking on the day was a bit cheeky. But they said yes, just to give them 3 hours, and they would be more than happy! We turned up on the cool and sunny Winter's afternoon, and to our surprise, we were the only car there. We were greeted warmly as soon as we hopped out of the car, and we quickly became aware we were the only people on the tour. And yet, we were given the single best winery tour we've ever had! Interesting facts, history and stories relating to the wines and region were peppered through out. We aren't the kind of people who could afford to buy entire cases and have them shipped home, and yet we were given the absolute best service! The wines were amazing! And the stories and experience made them that much more special. We bought half of our entire capacity, that we were allowed to fly home with, at this one winery. Now that we're home, we get out a bottle for special occasions. I have uploaded a picture as well, with this review, which I took while there. I feel it perfectly encapsulates the warm, tranquil, elated experience. We now have it hanging in our home, as a reminder of this beautiful place. On our next trip through Italy, we will be back.

My buddy and I randomly found this place on our way to Florence. We had such an amazing experience. Everyone was very warm and welcoming when we arrived. We sampled all the wines and enjoyed a 30 minute walk around the winery with a glass in hand to understand their wine making process. Unfortunately we were from Canada, so we couldn't buy too many wines but we loved them all and they were all very affordable. One of our favourite of 12 wineries we visited during those two days. Highly recommend!

We visited few wineries during our trip in Tuscany, however, Fattoria Santa Vittoria was the best one! Claudio was a perfect host and made a very interesting tour through winery, talking about the production process and the history. We appreciate that it was honest, not snobbish (as most of the Chianti winery's we visited were) and the wine was perfect! Also, Claudio gave us some great tips for our trip, what we really appreciate. If we are back in Tuscany, we will definitely visit Fattoria Santa Vittoria once again.
