Thijs Roes's (see below) description is perfect. We did a lot of SUP (Stand Up Paddling). The Isola di Giulio is just 1.2 km away and a great SUP destination. The campground is a beautiful and (during the week) quiet place. Saturday and Sunday the campground awakes with all the Italians who have an engine propelled recreational water vessel. Do not experience any silence during the weekend. The office takes no credit cards, only cash.

Small camping next to the lake. Grassy areas that are perfect for tents and small campers. Also some tent spots right at the water's edge. Great view of the lake and if you swim out maybe 10 meters you can see the famous island. Small café with nice coffee and WiFi. There is a small community of Italians on the camping and the atmosphere is pleasant.

A little paradise, if you like it simple. If not, you could go next door where you spend more for a night than here for two weeks.

Beautiful view, close to the lake, friendly owner who is willing to think with you for solutions, the water was really clear with a lot of fish. Only thing about this place is the muskitos, there are A LOT OF THEM

I loved it here as very rugged and a little boho. However my husband wasn't keen. Not much room for awning off our camper right on lakeside. Showers/ toilets very old but no problems and everyone friendly. Not many pitches , quite a few static places a bit like the beach huts found in India which I love but are an acquired taste!! Fabulous swimming and walking opportunities.
