Oh man oh man we read the reviews and we're so excited to take our youngest out for French toast. We called ahead to ask if they still served breakfast because it was after noon. They said yes and we drove over. Parking was tricky but within easy walking distance. The menu is displayed outside and we excitedly entered. The decor is a little off: they have a large photographic mural of Chicago (?), a license plate from Texas but then a poster of an English double decker bus and a poster of Cuba with Ché. I ordered a veggie burger and my little one French toast with bacon. When we received the food my kid lost it. The bacon was burned black and the French toast was a hate crime against bread and egg. It did not have cinnamon, vanilla or powdered sugar (see pics) the \cook\ only toasted one side and it was fried in the burned bacon fat; we sent it back and requested pancakes but they couldn't cook them, so we asked for the French toast and bacon to be redone, which to their credit they did and the second attempt was at least edible and at least it was served with pancake syrup. My veggie burger was a pile of grilled veggies with pesto sauce, it was okay but very oily. I would hazard to guess that if you would like an edible version of pancakes or French toast you better go in the morning.

Five stars because it is very hard to find a place in Liguria where you can get bacon and eggs, but you can at this place. I got two eggs over hard with two slices of crispy bacon and two slices of white toast. All done just right. I also had two double espressos, and the total bill was 10 euros (about 11.50). That would be rock bottom cheap at home in the Bay Area, leave aside on the Italian Riviera.

Great coffee shop where you can grab some Italian grub plus some American pancakes. One of the only places to go out for breakfast in Camogli.
