We bought 3 EAMES Lounge Chairs at their auction. The catalogue picture showing the chairs is highly cosmetic and hides faults. The product description mentions no damage. When the chairs arrived we recorded 30 cm rips in the leather. We are planning to sue. The communication from the house is zero. Fraudulent behaviour. Beware.

This auction house has no sense of the integrity. As a customer of a print that cost me 29000 Euro with 25% going to them for their fees, they completely neglected \the customer\. They made it clear that they are only motivated by the money demonstrated through a series of events. I purchased an Andy Warhol print through them. I was concerned about the shipping but they assured me I had nothing to worry about with them sending to a trusted outside shipper. The outside shipper, shipped it in the glass frame and it arrived destroyed after the glass shattered in transit. Luckily I bought insurance but many months later, I still don't have payment. I asked the insurance company if they would sell the damaged print back to me for a client who was willing to buy it from me on the cheap, but then found out that the insurance company spoke to Cambi about restoring it and reselling it in their auction, so they declined. Naturally, I would think an auction house would make an effort to make the customer happy. This coming from a guy who buys many artworks a year at auction houses. Flavia over there chose to ignore me. I'm going to lose thousands of dollars and they dont care. So I won't contact them again, and instead hope that all of you who see this know that you need to pray that it gets to you okay because if it doesn't, you can forget about any help from Cambi.

Ho avuto 3 esperienze con Cambi e tutte molto negative. 1esperienza (di acquisto) : in internet un'asta on line, offro ma vedo che c'è un'altra persona interessata che offre a sua volta, un minuto prima dell'assegnazione (prezzo bassissimo) il sito si chiude misteriosamente...sarà un caso... 2esperienza come venditore: una sac Mallette Hermes in coccodrillo selvaggio, assolutamente come nuova, del valore minimo di 7 o 8.000 euro mi viene valutata non più di 1.000! 3 volta come venditore: diversi orologi tra cui un Cartier con diamanti e un Bulgari Antalia in oro massiccio. Non mi viene nemmeno offerto il prezzo al grammo dell'oro come rottame. Erano oggetti pari al nuovo, scatola e garanzia.

Molto gentili ed efficenti
Mando un oggetto in consegna perché venga inserito in Asta, dopo averlo fatto visionare . Al completamento del catalogo vengo a scoprire che il mio oggetto non è stato inserito . Nessuno mi ha comunicato nulla. Ho contattato l'asta e mi é stato riferito che l'esperto ha ritenuto opportuno non inserirlo . Ritengo l'accaduto motivo di mancanza di cura del cliente e credo che in futuro se avrò la necessità di non rivolgermi a questa casa d'aste.
