A good boat tour run by a good company. Very professional. The southern pebble beaches are ok, but uncomfortable. Cala Luna is the beach to go to. The caves are fun and well worth a swim in. Just wish they drove a bit faster for the thrill of a 250 hp engine!
Beautiful beach and English service guide.
We did a beautiful day tour. Giovanni was the perfect guide. We were on a 12 person boat. And could bring everything we wanted on it. There was room for all the stuff. So we got to see all the nice places and cliffs and caves from close by. With interesting information from the guide. Also the services for the Reservations on the Phone was excellent. She took all the time for answering all our questions.
What seemed like a lovely company to hire a boat with turned out to be otherwise. Beware!! We had a lovely day exploring the beaches by ourselves as we hired a Boat wth this company. My husband has a boat at home and is an experienced driver. Not long after leaving the port and heading to Cala Goritze, the left side of the canopy that was folded up and tied down, wouldn’t clip in as the right side would and as a coincidence with the speed of the boat, the wind caught hold of the left side of the canopy and snapped... it was a hot day and it would have been nice to have a canopy, however we did not let this disappointment spoil our day. On return and when paying for our boat fare which was 100 euro, we mentioned this incident and how I had to hold onto the canopy when we were driving (so not too lose it) and the inconvenience of it. The company wanted little to do with this and all they were concerned about was their broken canopy (that was broken from the start as it didn’t clip in) and their money. They tried to say that they will waive the fee of the broken piece which is beyond ridiculous as it was broken from the start. Had we noticed this faulty aspect we wouldn’t have taken the boat however it was Only when the boat picked up with speed that this became noticeable. There was no interest in customer satisfaction. It is such a shame as had they paid more attention to their boats from the start they would have seen that this was broken and not rented it to us- crisis avoided. This is box 17, so please choose another company if you decide to hire your on own boat. I am disappointed that we went with this company. This was the cheaper company - sometimes you pay for what you get.
