This is a good place to visit when you are in Cagliari and if you have time to spare. You have to be willing to get up early in the morning and take a bus out - or drive if you have a car. Combine your visit with one to the regional park next door , Molentargius Saline, and choose a cool morning or a fresh evening just like the pink flamingos who live there do.

This place is absolutely amazing, I love the open spaces, the water all around, the lights. There's always something to take by photo, and so many different areas where you can go discovering endless new combination of paths for your running, biking or walking. There's also an area with some very basic gym tools that you can use for your workout. Be careful though...except when Mistral blows hard, mosquitoes will attack you at dusk if you are in short leaves :-)
