Good food, amazing breakfast. Outstanding location with ibexes running around. Some staff was nice, but some was absolutely horrible and unkind - it was raining and we weren't allowed to sit inside. Rooms super big, private big bathroom, very clean!

We arrived there after our quick walk from the camping we were staying at. The place is nearby a lake where you could take a quick bath as the was is quite cold. Would suggest if for a light lunch.
Staying here and in this area was my favorite part of trekking the southern half of the TMB. The location is simply gorgeous, and the Cabane is clean and updated. The staff were really great, and we really enjoyed the dinner and breakfast provided for half board. For dinner we had fresh bread, pasta, beef and vegetables, and a tasty chocolate tart for dessert. For breakfast we had an array of tasty jams, good bread, scones for coffee, LOTS of coffee, fruit, and cheeses. Our bedroom was comfortable and clean (super super clean!). The only thing I would have changed is being able to star gaze in the middle of the night - it was so dark and gorgeous! They lock up the Cabane at night, and I believe we could only get out in the event of an emergency. We are really glad we ended our last night on the trail at this beautiful place - 10/10, would go again!
One of the best accommodation on the TMB amazing service. It's true that it's a bit more expensive than the other refuges but you get a private room and personalized dinner and breakfast. There are only 7 rooms available so make sure you book in advance.

Very clean, comfortable and nice decorated hotel with friendly personal situated in amazing place. Breakfast and dinner were one of the best we had during whole TMB. Would really recommend to stay there. Small tip - to get better GSM coverage you can clime short stairs to the nearby glacier ;)
Clean and renovated rooms but the discourtesy of the owners makes you feel very unwelcome unfortunately.
Make sure that you read all the reviews here. In particular there is a common theme related to the absolute rudeness of the host. This place is a perfect example of how when you own a monopoly on something, you don’t have to try hard to stay in business. Avoid it if you can. Customer service is basically non existent.
