Beautiful and detailed architecture. the anatomical theater is an incredible site, decorated entirely in wood. The classrooms are beautiful but can only be viewed through a gate. As with many places I. Bologna there isnt much signage with visitor information in languages other than Italian. The entry fee is inexpensive, though, making it worthwhile.

You can’t not be impressed by this building. Beautifully crafted. You can wonder some of the Building for Free which is worth taking a look at least. But the nominal Fee to see the Library and Lecture Room is worth it.

A must visit place in Bologna if you have any interest in science. Even though this was one of the oldest building of Bologna university, started as a law college, it has a wonderful library and of course the anatomical theatre. There are emblems of students in this house. There is also one hall where Einstein gave his lectures. This has original books of Cavendish, Boyle and other prominent physicist of the golden age. Amazing indeed.

Stumbled across this by accident and I am so pleased we did! Absolutely incredible building! We spent an hour just looking around the sculptures and paintings on the walls. We then paid the 3 to get inside and marvelled at the medical training room and the library. It was stunning and well worth a look

Very special experience to understand the development of anatomy studies. The sculpture of the ancient master of medicine of the past, represented on the four walls are very beautiful. Even more noticeable are the personification of the constellations and of the sun in the ceiling. The last remarkable elements are the two \spellati\, two skinless men who hold the cover of the professor seat.
