AlmaMUN Society is a student run association established in December 2014, officially recognized by decree of the Rector of the Alma Mater Studiorum – University of Bologna. Originally formed by a group of students from the schools of Law and Political Science of the University of Bologna, it can now count on a team of young learners with a multidisciplinary expertise. The foundation of its commitment lays on its members’ shared passion for international politics and law, as well as their desire to deeper understand key global issues and the work of supranational and international organizations. Part of the global network of MUN societies, AlmaMUN Society is actively engaged in the academic understanding of the United Nations work sessions, as it regularly organizes thematic meetings, training courses for delegates and chairs, moot debates and simulations. In addition to assisting and encouraging students’ participation in delegations to MUNs in Italy and abroad, the association organizes conferences and events relating to the field of international relations and world affairs, serving as a point of reference for young people with a strong interest in international issues.
