I’ve been to Blackmarket Hall a few times and it has been one of my favourite places for food and cocktails here in Rome! There’s a great selection of cocktails and the food is always outstanding. Overall, a very comfortable and enjoyable experience. Staff was also extremely friendly.

Really good cocktails, not cheap (around 10-12 euros) but really well made, the house cocktails are inventive and tasty. The service was friendly, attentive and fast. The only minus point was that a member of staff ate their dinner at a table and then other guests were shown to it with no cleaning procedure in between.
Such a cozy place in the very heart of the city, developed in more hallssmall space outside. Adore its old style of 20s. Good for drinks and dinner
Love love love this place!!! Hands down one of the best bars in Rome, these people know their business. Great space, music and atmosphere in the underground cave-like rooms, beautiful outside area for when the weather is good, top quality cocktails and great food options to accompany your drinks with. One of the few bars in Rome that match the standards of the modern international bar scene, you will definitely want to come back!

In conclusion : The best bar in Rome ! The simple door at street level does not reveal the great bar that extends from room to room underneath : a great crowd, very skilled cocktail alchimists and a unique atmosphere (try to guess what movie inspired it?) The bar structure pushes for people to meet in a joyful mix of surprised tourists and joyful Italians - they often have a live band, but the bar dj has a good repertoire of music for the rest of the night. Add to that garden spaces and excellent food, and you have The best place to hang out in Monti or even Rome, of even Italy !
I've been there yesterday and had an amazing time. The music, the furniture, the decoration is all about the jazz. The cocktails were incredible good! I really recommend "The Fashion Safari" and the "Cilantro Mule". And the burgers were soooo delicious! Service was very nice and always around. I will definitely go there again. My new favorite bar! (If the bar upstairs is empty, just go down and have a seat :D )
