I used to come to bier Himmel very often,almost every week, when I was in my teenage and in my early 20s. It’s been few years I wasn’t coming since I moved country. That’s to say I know it very well. I have to say the place has really changed a lot. It’s not so busy as it’s used to be and the service has slowed down a lot. The restaurant is almost empty and it doesn’t have the same vibes and the feeling of being in Tirol anymore. In this last visit I went with my friend and ordered a Foresta nera antipasto , two pasta dishes and two beer and it took 40 minutes to be served in an empty restaurant. We then ordered 2 chips and it took 20 minutes. I left very disappointed

Nice place, nice people, good bavarian food and genuine beer. Fantastic meats, very special desserts, but also canederli where particulary good. Very high quality/price ratio. Defintely a place to go, especially in fall and winter.
