Refreshing contrast between ornate decor and plain walls. Quiet, still atmosphere and not crawling with tourists. The statue that was formerly atop the spire is now inside so you can get close up to see the details.

Worth a visit. It is so amazing. It looks even more huge than St Pietro in Vatican. In the night it has the highlights which make it even more awesome and gorgeous.

Nice church with fantastic chapels inside. Impressive golden Christ statue.

Not the oldest big church in Europe, but with lots of character and an elusiveness something this big ought not have. The tall spire may be seen from around the city, but it is surrounded closely by buildings -- it is hard to get a good view of it. As you get close it will disappear behind a rooftop.
