Amalfi isn't a very big town but has a charm of its own, with the usual cafes, restaurants, clothes and gift shops. The most impressive building is the cathedral with a large set of stone steps up to the front of it off the main square of the town. The cathedral is two tone stone (black and white) and its well worth the entrance fee to look around the unusual cloisters, main cathedral buildings with artifacts and the stunningly decorated crypts.
Well what can I say,we took a coach trip along the Amalfi Coast stopping off on several view points & we had a good look around Sorrento & the picturesque town of Amalfi itself...The whole trip was absolutely magnificent a little bit scary at times on the narrow winding roads being quite high up in a lot of places....It has got to be one of the most beautiful drives in the world on every twist & turn there are so many wonderful Panoramic views to look at..Can highly recommend this experience to anyone,it’s definitely one for your bucket list ️
