We passed this on the way to the Monteverdi church. Looked interesting so we returned. The place opposite is half of the price but we liked the look of the menu and it has a little landing jetty tunnel where there are tables. We shared a zucchini flower starter, lush. Then had capricciosa and an amalfi pizza. Both excellent and huge. So some take away to boot. Chose a bottle of primitivo, very reasonably priced, and also a craft beer. Both excellent too. We were very late for lunch and very early for dinner so we had the place to ourselves but the waitress was very hospitable and obliging. She said the comp bread was homemade and very good and it was, although we didn't really need it. And our little table by the canal was lovely, we watched the sea trout enjoying their lunch too. If we hadn't had drinks it was very reasonable. Our drinks weren't expensive but they doubled the cost. A very very good find.

The atmosphere was very welcoming! And the food was amazing! They have a table side oil mixture for the bread and pasta dishes which is delicious! My husband had their Napoli’s Pizza and it was delicious! I had their scallops pasta special and it was yummy! Defiantly would recommend this place!

Absolutely fabulous place with the modern twist on Italian cuisine. The waitress service was extremely professional and one of the best I’ve experienced in Venice. Been to a few places around and this one is definitely among the top. P.S. use fork app to book!

100% outstanding! Both atmosphere, service and food are beyond amazing. Luca, the man who served us is so warm and friendly. If you go somewhere else for a romantic dinner you made the wrong decision.

We had dinner here one night, highly highly recommend the swordfish and eggplant pasta, it was one of our favourite pastas of the trip in Italy. Was expecting bad or average food in Venice and we were pleasantly surprised here. Booked on TripAdvisor/the fork to save an extra twenty percent on our bill making the prices very reasonable. My only regret is trying a different restaurant another night and not coming back here. I'd maybe skip the calamari as the portion is small and priced a bit high. The trio sampler was great, whipped codfish being my favourite.
