Founded in 2001, the Studio Italiano language centre is located in the heart of Tropea (Calabria, Southern Italy). The main objective of our school is to offer an enjoyable cultural experience in this part of the 'bel paese', in a warm and friendly environment with highly qualified teachers. Studio Italiano is a member of the international network of ‘Società Dante Alighieri’ and also a ‘PLIDA examination centre'. Our certification is officially recognized by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and it's essential to apply for long-term residence permits. Apart from Italian language lessons for all levels, we offer also: - Private lessons (with an extraordinary flexibility in arranging the schedule of one-to-one or two-to-one), giving to the students the chances to choose the total number of sessions - Mediterranean cuisine lessons, as well as tasting of special Calabrian wines - Cultural excursions and guided tours - Sporting courses in combo with the Italian lessons (eg. catamaran sailing, diving, paragliding, climbing, trekking).
