Great school - really friendly vibe and highly knowledgeable teachers. After three months, I now have a clear understanding of the language on both an idiomatic and structural level. Can’t recommend enough.

I have been learning Italian for just a few months but with the support and patience of my online tutor, Alice, I already feel I can speak and write in short sentences. The lessons are interesting and fun but there is always emphasis on the importance of grammar too. Homework is provided to consolidate everything we’ve discussed during the lesson but there is never any pressure to do it. I’ve met some interesting people within our group from various countries and, as beginners, we recognise the struggles of learning a new language and try to encourage each other. I’m so pleased I discovered Parola!

I am loving my course online. They school has been VERY accommodating. I live in Canada and they have been scheduling classes around my local time. The teachers are excellent, they talk at a good speed to learn. I give the school a 6 out of 5.

Last year if anyone told me that, today I would be living in Italy and speaking Italian, I would've said \No way!\. Turns out I was wrong! Today, I'm speaking Italian, socializing with locals, and doing a variety of daily activities - all in Italian. And it's because of the fantastic teachers, classes, and learning experience I've had at Parola Scuola over the last several months. The teachers and administrators at Parola are so welcoming. They make you feel like family right from the start. Simone and Gianluca, Parola's owners, work closely with you to select a program that suits your needs and achieves your objective for learning Italian. The teachers make an effort to get to know their students, they're knowledgeable, engaging, and they even accomplish the impossible - make Italian grammar fun! Beyond just learning the language and culture, I'm impressed at how they go the extra mile to help their students. A few weeks ago, I was sick and needed to see a doctor, but I didn't know how to say walk-in clinic let alone find one near me. Nadia, my teacher, texted me that it's called a \Guardia Medica\ and sent me a link to one nearest me. Parola's curriculum is comprehensive - you'll learn grammar, practice conversations and participate in free afternoon or evening activities like tour Palazzo Vecchio, visit Chiesa di Santa Croce, take a train to Pistoia, walk to Piazzale Michaelangelo or go out for an aperitivo, just to name a few. Occasionally, we'll have a grammar and/or conversation class at a nearby caffè bar or outside like at Piazza Delle Murate. Fun! My experience at Parola Scuola has been overwhelmingly positive. I'm sad to see my program end, but I've made lifelong friends with some of the teachers and students that I've met at Parola. Thank you to everyone at Parola!!!

I studied at Scola Parola 10 years ago and had a wonderful experience even though I was the old lady in the class! I made many friends and worked to level 4. This fall I enrolled in the online class and am doing some much needed review. The teachers are fabulous, nurturing and experienced. I plan to continue over the winter. I love the easy pace of the class and always feel encouraged by our darling teacher, Alice.
