We found this restaurant whilst walking to Gerrys Pub, on the side of the street theres a sign for the restaurant which is a few flights of stairs down (dont be put off by this) the restaurant is very Italian and has great views from the balcony overlooking the sea. The pasta is all homemade and was excellent!!!! The T-bone steak is also very nice!!! Highly recommend this restaurant and would class it as a little gem!! After your done for dinner, take a walk up to Gerrys Bar, especially on a saturday night!!!

We went here because of the reviews..... my daughter had the gnocchi and I had spaghetti with garlic and oil. For the second course we ordered meatballs and grilled vegetables to split. Pasta was average. But our second course the Meatballs were barely warm and grilled veggies were cold. We told them that it was cold and that we did not want it anymore. They ended up taking 12 euros off of the check but charged a 8 euro/ 10% gratuity fee. Just not what was expected from the reviews.
Ventured off the touristy path to visit La Taverna dei Briganti for dinner while visiting Amalfi and it was well worth the trip! You'll need to take a short taxi ride or bus but I would highly recommend it. The staff were delightful and incredibly attentive from the moment we arrived. The view is breathtaking. The food was fabulous - every course was cooked to perfection and you can't beat the prices. Must try dessert while you're there with a bit of limoncello to go with it. Make the trip - you won't regret it!
